Meet Me

Orion Mott reiki master medical intuitive concussion therapist and intuitive healer in Toronto

Hello, I’m Orion Mott, a medical intuitive, energy healer, and spiritual mentor based in Toronto. My journey into energetic therapies began over 15 years ago at my family’s martial arts school, where I trained in disciplines such as Karate, Chi-Kung, Native Shamanism, Kung-Fu, Aikido, and Escrima Kali. These practices honed my ability to perceive and understand the flow of energy, enabling me to assist others in achieving balance and healing.

Philosophy of Balance

I believe that true health arises from the harmonious integration of mind, heart, and body. In today’s fast-paced world, maintaining this balance can be challenging due to various stressors. My mission is to guide individuals in healing internal conflicts and developing strategies to alleviate external pressures. Empowerment plays a crucial role in this process; by reframing past experiences, we can transform negative events into neutral or even positive learning opportunities.

To support physical well-being, I incorporate personal training, biomechanical corrective exercise therapy, Chi-Kung, and martial arts into my sessions. These modalities promote structural integrity, cardiovascular health, and spiritual focus.

For mental and emotional resilience, I offer spiritual mentorship that includes meditation techniques designed to shift individuals from their everyday mindset to a deeper state of being. This practice helps uncover and address imbalances rooted in the heart, facilitating profound healing and transformation.

Concussion Healing

One of my specialized areas is assisting clients with brain injuries, including concussions and eye trauma. I have developed a unique approach called Energy Neuroplasticity, which combines Reiki and BodyTalk techniques to realign the brain’s hemispheres, rewire specific lobes, reduce inflammation, and alleviate concussion-related symptoms.

Additionally, I work with young individuals facing learning challenges often labeled as ADD, ADHD, or comprehension disorders. In the New Age philosophy, these individuals are sometimes referred to as “Crystal Children” or “Indigo Children” due to their heightened sensitivity and misunderstood genius. I help them recognize their sensitivity as a powerful asset and teach them how to harness their physiological, psychological, and emotional abilities effectively.

Connect with Me

I am dedicated to sharing the knowledge and skills I’ve acquired to assist others on their healing journeys. Whether you’re seeking physical healing, emotional balance, or spiritual growth, I am here to support you.

Finding Your Zen With Your 3 Cowboys

Zen Meditation Toronto

Finding Your Zen With Your 3 Cowboys

In a world that feels like it’s spinning faster by the day, the pursuit of inner peace can seem elusive. The noise, the constant flow of information, the never-ending to-do lists—we are surrounded by chaos. Yet, there is a way to reclaim your calm. It’s not in escaping to a mountaintop or embarking on a silent retreat (though those sound pretty tempting). It’s in the small, daily practices that help you stay grounded, centered, and emotionally balanced. Three powerful tools—meditation, grounding, and heart-centered emotional release—can bring you back to yourself, no matter what life throws your way.

Meditation

Meditation isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a transformative practice that has been cherished for centuries. Think of it as your mental reset button. Just as we clear clutter from our homes, we need to clear mental clutter from our minds. Setting aside even 10 to 15 minutes a day to meditate can create profound changes in how you handle stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges. When you meditate, you allow your mind to rest. It’s not about stopping thoughts (that’s impossible!) but rather observing them without attachment. Over time, this helps you develop a sense of clarity and detachment from the whirlwind of daily life. You create a peaceful space within yourself, where you can always retreat when things get too intense.

Energetic Grounding

In a world dominated by screens and concrete, we’ve lost touch with one of our greatest allies—nature. Grounding, or “earthing,” is the practice of physically and energetically connecting with the Earth to recharge and balance your body. When you walk barefoot on grass, sand, or soil, you’re absorbing the Earth’s natural energy. This act of grounding helps to neutralize excess energy in your body, reducing stress and promoting well-being. For those of you that have done Kundalini activation through connection to the earths core, this is also a great way to find that energetic balance.

Energetically, grounding serves as a stabilizer. Imagine yourself as a tree with deep roots in the Earth. When life’s storms come, you may sway, but you won’t be uprooted. By taking a few moments each day to ground yourself—whether it’s through a barefoot walk, sitting in a park, or even visualizing roots extending from your feet into the Earth—you can feel more centered and present, no matter what chaos surrounds you.

Moving Emotional Issues to the Heart for Release

We carry emotional baggage without even realizing it. Whether it’s unresolved grief, anger, or fear, these emotions often get stored in the body, manifesting as tension, discomfort, or even illness. One of the most powerful ways to deal with these emotions is by moving them to the heart for release or Heart Clearing.

When you bring emotional issues to the heart, you are not dismissing or burying them. Instead, you’re allowing yourself to fully feel them, but from a place of compassion and acceptance. Always trust what is. The heart has a unique ability to transform and release negative emotions in a healthy way. You can practice this by sitting quietly, focusing on a challenging emotion, and imagining it being drawn into your heart. Breathe deeply, and with each exhale, let go of the emotional weight.

This simple yet profound act of heart-centered emotional release is a gentle reminder that you don’t have to carry everything forever. You are allowed to let go, to forgive, and to release what no longer serves you.

Finding Your Zen in a Crazy World

Yes, the world is crazy and it sometimes it feels like everyone is demonstrating their disfunction in all media forms. But within that craziness lies an opportunity to create your own Zen. By committing to daily meditation, grounding yourself to the Earth, and practicing heart-centered emotional release, you create a natural flow both outside and within. This is a space where you can find clarity, peace, and resilience, no matter what life throws at you. It’s not about escaping the world but rather learning to navigate it with grace, balance, and inner peace.

So, take that time for yourself today. Sit in silence, feel the Earth beneath you, and let go of the emotions you’ve been holding on to.

The Head, Heart, and Gut: Three Cowboys Riding Side by Side

In the journey of life, we are guided by three powerful forces—the head, the heart, and the gut. Each one represents a different aspect of our inner wisdom. The head is the voice of logic and reason, the heart is the seat of compassion and emotion, and the gut is our instinct, the primal sense that tells us when something just feels right or wrong. But too often, we let one of these cowboys take the reins, leaving the others trailing behind. What if, instead, we allowed them to ride side by side, in harmony, without one leading?

Imagine three cowboys riding across the open plains—your head, heart, and gut. None of them need to race ahead or fall behind. When they move together, you are at your strongest, making balanced decisions that honor all parts of yourself. Here’s how to let them ride in unity:

Trust Your Head Without Overthinking

The head is analytical and thrives on logic, but overthinking can lead to paralysis. When your head is one of the riders, it offers clear, rational guidance without dominating. Let it consider facts and analyze situations, but don’t let it overpower the heart or gut. Remember, it’s just one cowboy on this ride.

Feel with Your Heart, But Don’t Be Overcome

The heart brings deep emotional intelligence. It connects you to empathy, love, and intuition. However, when emotions rule unchecked, we may make decisions based on temporary feelings. Allow your heart to have a voice, but remember that it works best when tempered by the head’s logic and the gut’s instinct.

Honor Your Gut Instinct, But Stay Grounded

Your gut instinct is primal, often sensing truth before your mind or heart catches on. It’s the cowboy that notices the dust on the horizon before anyone else. But instincts alone can lead to rash decisions. Trust your gut, but keep it riding in pace with the head and heart for a grounded approach. The gut is always in the NOW!

The Harmony of Three

When these three cowboys ride in sync, you are whole. You’re thinking clearly, feeling deeply, and trusting your inner knowing. None of them need to take the lead; they work together, guiding you forward as a unified force.

Let your head, heart, and gut journey together, each with its own wisdom, and you’ll find a path that is balanced, intuitive, and true to your deepest self. The next time you’re faced with a decision, pause and check in with all three cowboys. Then move forward in harmony, confident that you’re navigating life with your full power.

Mystical Power of the Heart

Mystical Power of the Heart

Mystical power of the Heart. As a resident of Toronto, I’ve come to understand a common source of chronic discomfort and stress in our lives—an overwhelming fixation with living exclusively within the confines of our minds and thoughts. While the marvels of the mind certainly shouldn’t be undervalued, we must also recognize the impressive restorative capabilities that our hearts possess. It’s not just our self-perceptions and thoughts about our bodies that influence our health and welfare, but rather an amalgamation of our beliefs, definitions, emotions, and visualizations. The feelings we visualize act as the language of our cells. Consequently, feelings of power, health, and love can significantly enhance our health. Conversely, feelings of neglect, abandonment, or worthlessness can have the opposite effect. Therefore, the journey to healing often requires addressing emotional issues at the core of our discomfort.

The Restorative Potential of the Heart

Buried deep within our hearts are countless negative emotions and experiences, lodged in specific areas within this extraordinary organ. I discovered this truth several years ago during a medical intuitive reading for a client. I have since developed a transformative technique known as “Heart Clearing,” which blends the principles of neuroplasticity with the practice of energy healing. Throughout a Heart Clearing session, I assist individuals in exploring their hearts, enabling them to let go of old emotions, individuals, and experiences that no longer contribute to their wellbeing. Once the heart is thoroughly cleared, a deep connection can be established with chronic pain and illnesses, revealing the missing elements of the healing puzzle. Chronic pain and many diseases often materialize as unprocessed emotions of low self-esteem, guilt, shame, anger, abandonment, or a broad disconnection from the body.

Furthermore, the physical location of pain within the heart corresponds to our overall physical health, especially in relation to trauma. Many find it enlightening to uncover the degree to which they internalize pain from their interactions with others. For example, those who retain feelings of abandonment from a parent may unwittingly abandon themselves in various aspects. This pattern also applies to other emotions resulting from past interactions.

Our physical health is unquestionably linked to the love and happiness harbored in our hearts. However, negative emotions from past experiences often deprive us of this essential energy. By venturing into our hearts and actively eliminating pain, we can recover the capacity to lead a joyful life. The heart is meant to be open and full, much like a child’s, but tempered with the wisdom acquired throughout life. Embracing our happiness, curiosity, and passions draws us towards self-realization. The ultimate aim in life should be to accept our complete selves, deny nothing, and unleash our full potential.

Resonance, Frequency, and Health

purple universe

Resonance, Frequency, and Health

Resonance, frequency and health.  When we want to improve our resonance or health, we often start by eating higher frequency foods such as raw or organic produce.  Exercise is another useful way to improve our lean muscle conditioning, and raising our metabolism.  Yet we know people to eat average food, exercise very rarely and still maintain a very healthy body.

The idea I will explore is frequency.  Metabolism can certainly be improved through diet and exercise, but it also has it’s limitations.  Our self concept, or self talk, is JUST as important as doing physical effort in order to get the desired response. For years, I would meet people in the gym who would have such a terrible sense of worth.  They would love themselves or find value in themselves ONLY when the scale hit an acceptable number, or a specific dress size.  This negative emotional feeling would in one way be a motivating factor, but on the other side it would also be a disaster.  When we try to achieve something positive while maintaining a negative belief system, the result is usually negative.  When we don’t fully accept ourselves we are dropping our frequency to incredible lows.  Our body translates that negativity as an instruction to drop our metabolism thereby counteracting the effects of the diet and exercise.  If we are to make any lasting positive changes, it has to come from fully loving and accepting ourselves first.  If you have ever seen Arnold Schwarzenegger’s movie Pumping Iron, he used his positive belief in himself to empower his development.

Raise Your Frequency

The outer world reflects our inner reality.  Love and accept every part of yourself.  Then and only then can you make positive changes.

Resonance and Frequency

Outside of diet, exercise, and positive belief, we can improve our resonance in many ways.  One way is to release old feelings that do not resonate as being true today.  This is part of the process of my therapy called Spiritual Counselling.  I help people examine ideas and experiences that don’t contain any positive meaning.  In some cases I can help people find positive meaning in negative experiences.  Read my blog Beauty Of The Broken Heart to see an example of this.  The other suggestion I have is Reiki.  As a Reiki practitioner, I can bring the body directly into a state of flow and balance.  Certain stresses can be addressed through talk while others are best released in a more direct way.  I have found both to be useful in reducing stress.

To raise our frequency is to become more disciplined with our thoughts or feelings.  We might run for hours and accomplish something fantastic, but then wallow in the idea of worthlessness due to self talk we have subconsciously learned from others.  Within the core of our being is the spark of the divine.  That spark is our connection to the source.  To focus on that power and enhance our relationship with the divine through love and gratitude is to raise our frequency dramatically.  One of my favorite ways to connect to that divine connection is to get in-touch with our inner child.  The Inner Child is full of wonder and excitement.  It is as if the child in us shines with a divine light.

So in conclusion, let go of old ideas you carry about yourself.  Challenge your old belief systems that sabotage your happiness.  And, if you can find your Inner Child, shine your Light.  This is how you increase your resonance.

Kundalini, Reiki, and Innate

Kundalini, Reiki, and Innate

Kundalini, Reiki, and Innate. In the realm of energy healing and spiritual consciousness, I’ve frequently been asked during my workshops about the difference between Reiki energy and Kundalini energy. This piques interest as we navigate the complex and diverse world of energies that exist both within and around our bodies. Let’s embark on a journey of understanding these energies, their origins, and their unique roles in our overall well-being.

Our existence is a constellation of various energy bodies that work in harmony to maintain our overall health and consciousness. These include the tangible physical body, the mental body responsible for thoughts and cognition, the emotional body that carries our feelings, the psychic body linked to our intuitive abilities, the innate body consciousness, the Kundalini which is electromagnetic in nature, and the shamanic or dream body associated with spiritual experiences and altered states of consciousness.

In my experience, I’ve noticed that Reiki energy therapy primarily connects with the psychic body, the physical body, and the mental body. This doesn’t necessarily mean that Kundalini energy is entirely disconnected from Reiki, but there is a distinct difference in their origins and pathways. Kundalini energy generally flows from within the physical body, while Reiki energy is derived and channeled from an external source. Similarly, the electromagnetic field of the innate body is an internally derived system.

BodyTalk therapy and intuititive healing and Reiki
Intuitive Reiki Energy

Reiki Energy

Reiki energy healing is based on the principle of tapping into a source field, a high-frequency reservoir of healing energy. Practitioners open themselves up to this field, acting as conduits to channel this energy to themselves or others. This energy can have a profound uplifting effect on both the practitioner and the recipient. For those struggling with issues like fear and anxiety, or emotional traumas trapped within the body, Reiki can provide significant relief and promote healing.

Kundalini Energy

Kundalini energy, on the other hand, is often associated with tantric sexual practices which focus on raising sexual energies up the spine. The ultimate goal is to stimulate the pineal gland, enhancing awareness, and then direct this energy to the heart, fostering a sense of unity with a partner. Kundalini energy originates in the prostate for men and the G-spot for women, what I refer to as the Lower Pineal gland. This gland generates an electrical excitement energy that typically drives the desire for sexual release. If this release is denied or controlled, this energy ascends up the spine, causing each vertebra to resonate like piano keys. The harmonious vibration of the spine, along with the rising energy, reaches the brainstem, directly connecting with the pineal gland. The spine, in this state, functions somewhat like an antenna for energy, capable of both drawing in and emitting energy.

As the pineal gland becomes stimulated, perceptual awareness amplifies significantly. When the pineal gland is activated in the presence of a partner whose pineal gland is also activated, the energetic awareness descends to the heart and is perceived as love.

The Innate

The innate energy field is a fascinating aspect of our energy body. It exists within a radius of 6 to 12 inches from our physical body and is the cumulative energy generated by our DNA cells. Access to this field is possible through the heart, the pineal gland, or the lower pineal gland. The innate is a closed system that, while responsive to our words and feelings, operates according to its unique blueprint in our lives. It’s also linked to our aging process; hence, in rejuvenating or “youthing” practices, it is crucial to tap into the innate energy to influence the health of our DNA.

These intriguing subjects form the core of my Energy Activation Seminars, where we delve deeper into understanding and harnessing these diverse energies for personal growth, healing, and spiritual enlightenment.
